How to Extract Individual Bits of %MW for alarm

I’m using EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert and have a 16-bit register %MW1. I’d like to use each bit (bit 0 through bit 15) to trigger a different alarm—so bit 0 = Alarm A, bit 1 = Alarm B, … bit 15 = Alarm P.

What’s the simplest way to set this up in EOTE so that each individual bit can be read as a Boolean tag or directly used to fire its own alarm?

Any clear, step-by-step examples would be hugely appreciated!

The easiest way if you create the variable manual as BIT Variable.

So you could add the BITs in the addressrange of the WORD. Then you could add the BITs to the Alarm.

In the future should be implemented that you could directly bits of a word to the alarm table. But in the moment you neeed to use this workaround.

Hi, You can use converters to display the individual bits but unfortunately I am not aware of any way to do the BOOL alarms.
