Error when communicate between TM221C16R and HMIGXU5512 MODBUS RTU

Hello, I have a communication problem between TM221C16R and HMIGXU5512 Modbus RTU RS485

'"ETHERNET from PLC side and DB9 from HMI side"' and in pics below what I have did:
- The physical communication shown in pic1
- the hardware configuration of the TM221C16R shown in (pic2 & pic3)
- MODBUS communication in VIJEO designer basic, shown in (pic4 & pic5)
the result:
- The TM221C16R SL lamp does not light up or flash, which means there is a communication problem, as shown in (pic6)
- the HMI shows me "MODBUS time out"
- when I try to make a read request using the communication function in "so machine", it shows me error comEror 255 and OprErr 6 as it shown in (pic7)

please, I want to know what is exactly the problem

t is not cleare for me what you want with the pic1. There is a RJ11 Plug. But TM221 has an RJ45 plug. RS485 is located on this plug on Pin4 and Pin 5. Check this point. To start a modbus RTU master on the PLC Var_write creat additional problems. Because in that case you will have to masters.

Hello, Thanks for reply

Yes I know, excuse me, I forget to mention that I worked with Rj45 pin 4 & 5 and 8 for GND instead of RJ11 shown in pic1.
