Hi
I'm trying to download new software with EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert to an HMIDT351+HMIG3U with loaded Vijeo firmware V6.3.0.1007(Ecostruxure Machine Expert). Every time I get this Error popup with the USB route. below is an attached picture.
EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert-> Download Failed Communication error occurred: message not received
With the Ethernet route, I get this Error Popup.
EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert-> Unable to connect to the specified destination, Check if the target machine is in project transfer standby.
What else am I missing?

Hi @EdW92 ,
Based on your pictures the HMI has the VJD firmware on it. I recommend you to use the recovery of the HMIG3U along with an EOTE image.
The process for the recovery:

In order to get the EOTE image for that target i recommend you to contact the Technical support team so they can get the right image for you.
I have found this image on my pc...but it is under your own risk to test it:

Best regards,
Note: Have you tried using the mini-usb cable?

Hi LeTomas
I also tried the mini USB port, but it didn't work.
But I changed the PC Firewall to allow all Outbound and Inbound connections with the program filter pointing to the EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert.exe file. It seems to work now. thanks for the information.
I attached a screen snippet of the inbound rule.
