Compatibility checks

When I try to download a simple test program to the M580 PLC using Control Expert 15.3 I get the following error.

Impossible to transfer project to PLC due to compatibility checks.  (Compatibility level check failed)

Can't find this error anywhere in any Schneider documents.

Rookie mistake, have to make sure the PLC firmware matches the Program firmware.
