M172 Webserver Maximum Connections

Hello! I couldnt find anywhere, the maximum simultaneous possible connections to M172 Webserver? It gets somehow slow or lagging if there's too many?

Another question, has anybody tested M172SIG on third party modbus products? Its seems a nice and affordable way to get reliable Webserver from hardware, for small projects!

Hello,

TM172P can manage up to 5 web sockets, so 1 fast session or more slower sessions.

TM172SIG has been designed to add cybersecurity to devices which haven't it, it's Linux based platform, so in this case the limits in terms of sockets are managed by the OS based on the available RAM resources.

With ESME HVAC you can create web basic pages, otherwise you can refer to the attached document which explains how to link PLC variables.

Without any effort you can add Modbus/Tcp connectivity  (with allow list) or Secure Connect

The combination with third party Modbus Products should not be a problem. Till yet I tried it with differnt SE products but also with a third party AHU controll PCB without any problem. 

And as Federico explained, the TM172SIG could also be used as Modbus RTU/TCP gateway. In that case you must only activate the function via Webserver of TM172SIG
