Link button on M172D to a M172P variable

Greetings!

Is there any quick way to link button/checkbox on M172D to a M172P variable or I miss something?

If I drag-n-drop Bool variable loaded from *.parx on a page I have only two available object types: edit and progress. And when I assign this variable to a button in properties I get compilation error A4097 (M172P => Object not found).

Or the only way to do so is to use Video_SetParam function?
