Hi,
TM172 has just 1 retain DWORD, you can use it mapping a DWORD on datablock 102.0
If you need more, data should be saved into EEprom every hour or half an hour.
TM173O has more RETAIN data, on this controller you can declare it using RETAIN attribute

Hi,
To use retain, I apply two independent methods, one on the HMI side and one on the PLC side. I’ve shared both in the attachment; they may be helpful.
Wishing you good work.
