I have a question regarding EcoStruxure Machine Expert HVAC software.
When I right-click on a network and open Network properties window, there is section called "Disable IF NOT DEF".
I am wondering how to use this feature in the software.
Thank you.

In the field "Disable IF NOT DEF" you can specify the name of a variable defined like global variable the network is included in the compilation. If the variable is not defined the network is skipped and the code is not compiled and so executed. Take a look to the help on line

To better understand the usecase, I could not only use a self made global variable , I could also a target variable which is related to a related target?

Yes, it is possible to have a "related" target variable like for example cfg_AI12, in case of TM172P 18 IO the code under IFDEF is not compiled.
