Connecting an HMI panel to a 3rd party plc

Hi,

I have an HMIGXU3512 panel and i want to configure it to communicate with a 3rd party plc in my case EATON PLC (EC4P-221-MTXX1) over TCP/IP. How can i configure it on my vijeo designer basic software.

Configure in Vijeo Designer Basic under IO Manager a Modbus TCP driver and configure the drive to the given paramters of the third party PLC

The most relevant information is if you use the IEC61131 Syntax if the other PLC start as 0 or 1 with the register addresses. 

But are you sure that EC4P support Modbus RTU/TCP? I did not find an information in the manual I found only an information to Modbus in the series E4. But I´m not familar with eaton.
