Hi,
I want to set up the STO function on the ATV320 inverter. I need to use the External device monitoring to achieve Cat4 safety requirement. There doesn't seem to be a dedicated EDM output, can the DQ+, DQ- be used as EDM feedback?

Hi,
We can configure the output DQ as feedback from the STO. A screenshot of SoMove and the Safety functions manual, which contains wiring diagrams according to Safety CAT, are attached

Hi, thanks for the feedback it was very helpful. I didn't initally see the feedback options for the DQ assignement. I see the "power removal state" is the correct selection.
Thanks
