Update Error Code 102 - Could Not Update License

The Problem:

An unlocking code being rejected by the dongle field exchange utility due to characters left over in the update field from a previous key. This causes a failure to write the changes from the code into the key.

Primary Cause:

This happens when a second unlocking code is pasted into the update license field without fully clearing characters from a previous key update. This may be common among users who update multiple keys at a single time on the same PC.

Suggested Solution(s):

Close down the dongle field exchange utility, reopen it and paste the 265 character code into the update license field. Ensure all characters are pasted and that no additional spaces are included from the copied source.  Repeat as required.
