When editing a mimic script you can set debug breakpoints to pause execution and examine variables, for example. However the Microsoft Script Debugger is required to be installed on the client to enable this, and without it the breakpoints you set will be ignored. After installation ViewX must be restarted for the changes to take affect.
The script debugger installs to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Script Debugger". The installer can be downloaded from the file link below to "scd10en.zip" below. Unpack the zip file and run the exe file to install it, then restart ViewX.
Once installed , the script debugging environment will be available.
