📖HomeBack In some older versions of ClearSCADA a there was a problem where points being imported and merged into an existing database are being counted in the server point count along with those points currently in the database. If this means that the server point count is exceeded, then the import and merge will fail.
The error message shown is:
Point licence limit reached
To resolve this problem, please upgrade to ClearSCADA 2005 R1 or later.
Please note that the error message "Point licence limit reached" was previously displayed as "Insufficient Free Space".
To determine the size of the licence count, right click on the server icon and select Status. On the bottom of the Info tab, there will be an entry specifying the number of Database Objects. This number is how many points the server is licensed to contain and the current number already in use.
Fixed in Version: This issue has been resolved in ClearSCADA 2005 R1.
