📖HomeBack ClearSCADA can be configured to embed mimics with alarm redirected emails. To be able to receive and view a ClearSCADA mimic inside an email alarm redirection, you should check the following:
The ClearSCADA server has been configured to correctly send the email with the mimic embedded.
For the user that the email is being sent to, ensure that on the Contact Information tab of their user record, that the email address being used does NOT have the 'Send Using Plain Text Only' option ticked. If this is on, mimics will never be embedded in the email.
Ensure that the point whose alarm generated the email redirection has an Alarm View configured. This is the mimic that will be embedded inside the email.
Your email client has the necessary security permissions to view the ActiveX control that displays the mimic
ClearSCADA has been configured to allow the Everyone user to have "READ" permissions on the mimic itself and on any other object that is being displayed on the mimic.
