📖HomeBack It is possible to disable the logic driver from running when the ClearSCADA service is started. This can be useful if you want the option to delete or modify some logic programs before they run on the server or if a logic program is causing serious performance issues.
If the ClearSCADA service is currently running the logic driver can be set into Manual mode by navigating to the Modules tab in the Server Status dialog, right clicking on the Logic driver and selecting Manual. This will not stop the driver, to do so also select the Stop menu option
If the server is not running and you wish to disable the driver prior to starting the ClearSCADA service, then you can disable the logic driver through the Windows Registry.
From the Windows Start menu choose Run. Enter 'regedit' and choose Ok.
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Schneider Electric\ClearSCADA\DriverLogic
Set the DebugMode value to True
Start the ClearSCADA service and the Logic driver will not be automatically started. This setting can be reversed by repeating the steps above and setting the value to DebugMode to False, or by change the startup mode to Automatic via Server Status -> Modules. Note that setting the startup mode to Automatic whilst ClearSCADA is running will not also start the driver, if you wish to start the driver after setting the startup to Automatic re-open the menu and choose the Start option.
Unlike more typical drivers such as DNP3 and Advanced Modbus there is no executable for the Logic driver and all functionality is run within the ClearSCADA service itself. This means that you cannot use Windows Task Manager to monitor when the Logic driver is started or stopped and instead you can only use the Status column in the Modules interface in Server Status
