If you add a custom aggregate that has no config fields, a tab will not be created on the parent object's property pages. You will therefore not be able to enable the aggregate via ViewX (using the "enabled" tick box).

This means the aggregate will not be instantiated and other fields (data/dynamic) will not be available.

A workaround is to set the aggregate to be "Fixed" as below.
