In some cases ClearSCADA will display a message stating that Crystal Reports isn't installed even though a version of Crystal Reports has been installed on the system. This may be because the wrong version of Crystal Reports has been installed.

As an example, versions of ClearSCADA up to 2007 R0.1 support Crystal Reports XI Release 1. ClearSCADA versions 2007 R1 and newer support Crystal Reports XI Release 2. ClearSCADA 2007 R1 (or newer) will not recognize Crystal Reports Release 1 (and vise versa).

If you have Crystal Reports Release 1 installed and you require Release 2, you may contact Business Objects directly and ask for a download to upgrade to Release 2.
