ClearSCADA 2007 R1 Changes To File Locations

📖 Home  Back
On a new installation of the latest ClearSCADA 2007 R1, the default directory structures have changed due to the support for Windows Vista and the new Microsoft requirements for file storage locations.

Please refer to the ClearSCADA online help for the most up to date information on installation defaults for your ClearSCADA version and operating system. The details below apply to ClearSCADA 2007 R1. While infrequent, these paths may change depending on operating system requirements and for this reason, please use the online help as the absolute guide for the installation paths.

When upgrading an existing system to ClearSCADA 2007 R1, existing file locations will be maintained. Only new Vista or Windows Server 2008 machines will enfore the file location rules.

For the database & log files, these are just the defaults, the actual locations are controlled by registry settings and configured on the location tab in the Server Configuration Tool.

The names of the database files have changed in this version, unless you are upgrading where the names will remain the same. For this reason, please ensure that the names of the files are correct for the machine they are being used on.

ClearSCADA 2007 Release 1 (Not Vista)

  File/Directory   Default Location
