Three EGX 300 Concerns 1 & 2 must haves 3rd one would be nice
1.
The EGX 300 Enercept graph for kW displays negative values. This is because it subtracts the last value from the present value to give you a difference of the values over the log period. This is OK for kWh since this typically increments upward. If appears that the kWh logging method was copied to use in the kW graphing program.
2.
The kWh chart name should be changes to kWh Period to Period rather than kWh. If it were kWh it would always go up with every logged point and never go down. Both these need to be addressed.
3.
Please add a DOWN LOAD VALUES NOW to the options for exporting the data that will allow someone to get the data to their PC. We do not want customers ftp-ing into the Gateway and breaking the EGX. This should be a simple function to add to the unit.
We understand that the Com X 510 will be replacing the EGX 300 soon. Make sure the issues here are not passed on to the new devices. Also understand that the Com X 510 may do a poor mans billing program.
A log to digest. Please fix 1 & 2 soon and consider 3.
