SIM10M firmware

Hi Gurus,

Where can we find the latest version of firmware for SIM10M? We need at least v 1.2.0 to use the analogue inputs.

Or if there is other way to enable the AI?

Hi Evonne,

SIM10M by Default has a 2 Analog inputs (0- 10 V) , with 1.1.1 or below firmware versions User has to configure scaling on the Modbus master Software/HMI/SCADA to see the actual value of Tempearture or humidity....

With SIM10M Version 1.2.0 firmware we can set the Scaling on SIM10M using SIM configuration tool 1.2.0 and read the actual value on Modbus master.

Hi Ravi,

Could you please provide some assistance in regards to the firmware upgrades?

We are following the guide provided, but it seems to be catered specifically to the SIM6BZ modules. Which option do we select for the "platform" field when loading the new firmware binary for the SIM10M?

Hi Martin,

SIM Modules (SIM10M,SIM10Z,SIM6BZ) comes with 2 firmwares  MSP_1_3_1 is for I/O Board and SIM firmware .bin is for the SIM modules.

MSP version & SIM version can be read from SIM10M configuration tool.

While Loading MSP files enusre that MSP430 platform is selected on SE flash tool.

While loading SIM firmware for all Modules (SIM10M,SIM10Z,SIM6BZ) ensure that 802.15.4-311 platform is selected on SE flash tool.
