PAS Water Meter Modicon Config

Hello Community,

We need to connect a water meter to Resource Advisor. We are considering connecting the water meter to Modicon TM221CE16U and from there pass the pulse to PAS600L via serial connection. We’ve tried to configure the Modicon using Machine Expert, however, we couldn’t find the Modicon on PAS setting page.

TM221CE16U is not integrated in PAS library. Ithink that You have to create a custom model in EPC Web Portal.

But you can't use the digital input of the PAS600L?

Hi @tonami , 

PLC cannot be native to Panel Server because Modbus map is not standalone and defined with Machine Expert.

If you have only 1 water meter, better use the Digital Inputs of a PAS600L / PAS800L.

If you have more than 2 meters, you can use inputs of a Smartlink, connected to a PAS600/800.

If you have no choice but using a M221, you need to map the Modbus registers in EPC Web an import your custom model on the PAS600/800.
