Modbus registers from Analog and Digital input on the comX210 and comX510

Hi everyone,

I have a couple customers requesting a nice and smooth WAGES solution for PME, so the question is simple, the analog and digital inputs on the ComX210 and 510 are available through Modbus registers? is there any firmware able to do it?

If someone can help me with this will be awesome

Thanks

Mauricio

Hello Mauricio Alexandro

Analog Input area available on the Com'X since version 1.3.5 (Com'X 200), and since the first version of he Com'X 510.

The modbus gateway setting must be set to "Yes"

I have posted a small tutorial on the Com'X Analog Input here :

https://community.se.com/thread/20218

For Digital Input, you can also see this link :

https://community.se.com/message/68474#68474

As a summary :

If AI-1 is used, its value (coded as Float32) is available at registers 10000 and 10001 (Most significant register first)

If AI-2 is used, its value (coded as Float32) is available at registers 10002 and 10003 (Most significant register first)

If the device type is a built-in model (PT100 or PT1000), the value returned by the Modbus-TCP server is the temperature value

If the device type is a custom model (0-10V or 4-20mA), the value returned by the Modbus-TCP server is the raw value : voltage or current value

     Regards

     Jef
