Modbus polling to Power Meters through PAS with separeted network mode

Hello community,

Could somebody kindly advise about Modbus TCP polling to Power Meters through PAS with separeted network mode?  I have described my question in the picture below.

AkihiroY_0-1707355834718.png

I assume, even with the network separeted mode on PAS, modbus polling request to Power Meters will be still possible, right?
I'd like to know how server should identify the each Power Meter in the separeted network on Modbus TCP.

Thank you.

Hello, this is what is called modbus routing.

Port 1 to the master with modbus service activated.

on Port 2 you have your slave devices, each device is assigned a virtual Id (should start at 200 if you are using default suggested one). Example PM W.X.Y.Z will get Virtual ID 200. (no need to use a specific model for the device you can use unknown modbus device).

To poll the PM just poll PAS@IP(port1):200

Kind Regards

Hello @AkihiroY ,

Modbus routing is explained in the user manual. Check the separated mode section.
