I have just installed a Link150 onto a clients site to pick up three meters. 2 are iEM3255 and one gas meter via a T-Mac modbus pulse collector.
No issues with any of the meters when connected directly to my laptop, but when I connect it to the client network is resets every few minutes.
I'm not sure yet whether the clients network is seeing the device and throwing it off every now and then because its not a known device (I've asked the question!) or if there is some other issue.
The RS485 baud rate is 9600/none and 1 data bit because that is the T-Mac default - and given the number of meters is limited, didn't change it to 19200. I've not had an issue before with the baud rate being this slow.
Any one any thoughts?
TIA
