Heattag re-pair with factory reseted PAS600

Hi, we are trying to re-pair a heattag to the same PAS600 that had a factory reset. Discovery and manual with qrcode zb/ic codes doesn't find the HT, the green led is flashing 1s rate and the wireless led is steady green. The procedure to press the button 8s doesn't do anything. Tried also to power down/up the ht and press button 8s.

Hello @Pedro_Dias ,

If your HeatTag was not unpaired from Panel Server interface, the sensor is still trying to connect to the PAS800.

You need to wait some communication cycles. Because communication frequency between HeatTag and Panel Server is slow (60 sec by default) => it can takes 15 min or more.

The HeatTag must be in the following state before attempting manual unpairing or factory reset:

  1. Operation LED = Green (blinking or steady)
  2. Network LED = Blinking red

Once your are in this state you can follow:

  • Manual unpairing procedure
  • HeatTag factory reset procedure

hello,

I would say that communication period for HeatTag is 120s by default if not changed (considered as environmental sensor).

HeatTag has to report the communication loss before being able to be reseted and repaired as explained by Romain.

If the Led does not change, power off the PAS to ensure no ack is received.

HeatTag if not to old support secure pairing with IC.

Kind Regards
