Com’X 200 firmware upgrade adds Zigbee support, CSV file compliance with PME, performance improvements.

The Com’X 200 firmware v1.4.6 adds new functionality to the energy server’s primary role of data collection and publication. The Zigbee feature allows the Com’X to be connected to the LEM EM4300 devices, and the format of the .CSV file has been updated to work with PME via the ETL.

(*) Zigbee dongle to be available end of April with reference EBXA-USB-Zigbee.  This is only for EM4300 connections at this time.

Updates:

• Zigbee connectivity:

Zigbee Pro only for LEM EM 4300 devices.

• CSV file format update:

The .csv file published from Com’X 200 is now compliant with Power Monitoring Expert (PME) through ETL (similar to EGX300 .csv file)

• Phase 1 of HX900 replacement (Brazil market only)

Com’X 200 now supports CODI protocol for Brazil

• Restart Button on HMI

Ability to remotely reboot Com’X box.  In Maintenance à System Settings à Restart Com’X

• Added “Every month” publication frequency

Additional product and performance improvements (please see the updated User Manual for more information)

I information I have found seems to be incomplete.  I am working on a system that will launch 100+ EM4300s at a site.  We have planned for 30+ ComX gateways with the zigbee dongle.  What we cannot find is Max number of EM4300s the ComX will connect to.  I have heard from 3, up to 20.  This guide indicates 20 ZigBee devices, but it does not mention if those are 20 EM4300s.

Com'X200  can communicate and manage data from 20 ZigBee devices ( It 's maximum ), note that the Com"X  ZigBee connectivity for the moment is only  for EM4300 devices.
