A customer has asked what happens when you trigger a device log export manually. I have looked in the user guide, knowledge base and SEC but cannot fin an answer.
He has a scheduled task at 00:00hrs to run monthly, but has only started logging data this today and wants to test the FTP.
I assume it does one of the following:
1) Give all data since the last scheduled export and count as an incremental export, such that next months scheduled export will only contain the data since the manual export?
2) Give all data since the last scheduled export and not count as an incremental export, such that next months scheduled export will contain all the data since the scheduled export?
3) Give all data that the system currently holds i.e. everything that has not dropped off the end, and have no impact on scheduled incremental exports?
Any assistance appreciated.
Neil

Answer 1 is correct.
But there is a FTP Test button on the EGX300 Data Logging Export page, users can use that to test their FTP server.
