We have created some custom device types in the EGX300 previously but right now we cannot modify them using the custom device type in the wizard. When we access the Wizard we see the most recent drivers we created but not the olders ones. I am not sure when this were created or during what firmware. At the moment we are running Firmware 4.3 and disk image Version 4.313.
Please let me know if you have a work around, or if you know a resolution.
Thanks,
Amelia

Hi Amelia,
If the .dtc files are still on the EGX300, the device types should be available. If they are still there, you can try downloading them to your PC and then "importing" them as a custom device.

The bak files are still in the EGX but the dtc are not in there anymore. However, the device type is still available in the page and we can view real time readings. Any clue on what can be done?

Yea.
1. Assign any devices that are using the custom device type to "Modbus"
2. Download the .bak files off the EGX300 to a PC.
3. Rename the file to .dtc.
4. Use the web interface to import the Custom Device Type
5. Modify the device type, if desired
6. Re-assign any devices that were using that device type to the device type
