Connect ION7650 to PME 7.2 using EGX100

Hi All,

I have an issue when I try to connect ION7650 to PME 7.2 using EGX 100 and COM2: there is no data displayed in the EGX100 registers or in PME7.2.

The ION7650 configuration is :

7056

7057

The EGX configuration is:

7055

When i try to read registers in EGX100 i have no values :

7053

The ION7650 is connected with several PM870 to the EGX100 via RS485 liaison.

7049

I can't find where is the problem?

Need your help on this.

Best regards.

Hi Amine,

I have checked and found that you should fill the Input address on EGX100 start from 150, not 40150 as you did

By this way, I can read data from ION, no need to configure anything more

Please try again!

Hi Amine,

I see your GTW can read data from ION7650 without error. So, the problem if any just in Mapping for Modbus Communication in ION7650

I think you're using the Defult Mapping for ION7650, but someone ( may be factory ) has changed Mapping by update Template for this Meter

First, access to check the Mapping inside of ION7650 by IONsetup

a. Connect ION 7650 to IONsetup via Ethernet port

b. Check in Communication/3rd Party Protocols, choose Modbus Slave tab

7033

c. Choose default profile in Map name column, and click Edit

d. At this step, you can check/re-config your mapping for each parameter....

7058

e. Print-out this Mapping for using later

f. Re-check the Data of EGX as you did above steps

Hope it helps you

Best Regards

I didn't modify any things in IONsetup :

7063

7064
