Com'X510 Tariff Energy Consumption

Hi All,

We have not used the Com'X510 before but have a possible application for them and wondered if the Tariff Energy Consumption values from a PM5331 meter would be obtained from the meter and logged to be gathered later in the Com'X510 unit.

If anyone has used these for similar task and could pass some info or a link to a document it would be a big help.

Thanks

Darren

Hi Darren,

I hope you're doing well. The Com'X510 does support the PM5331 meter, in particular it supports the following topics for gathering & logging:

Active Energy Into the Load

Active Energy Delivered + Received

Reactive Energy Into the Load

Apparent Energy Into the Load

Active Power

Active Power A

Active Power B

Active Power C

Reactive Power

Reactive Power A

Reactive Power B

Reactive Power C

Apparent Power

Apparent Power A

Apparent Power B

Apparent Power C

Voltage B-N

Voltage C-N

Voltage A-B

Voltage B-C

Voltage C-A

Frequency

Demand Active Power

Demand Reactive Power

Demand Apparent Power

Demand Current Avg

Voltage L-L Avg

It also supports a range of THD/thd values.

If you have any more questions, please let me know.

Best Regards,

Colton Peltier

Hi Colton,

Thanks for your reply.

My specific focus was regarding the tariff bands for the PM5331 meter and consumed energy values for each tariff (1-4) whether these tariff values would be available in their own registries in the COM'X510

Regards

Darren

Hi Darren,

Looking at the PM5331 device type on the ComX510, it doesn't look like we currently support the tariff bands (I see them in the Register Map for the PM5300's in the address range 4196-4543). However, you can definitely use our Custom Models definition page to define these topics and read / log them from the PM5331.

I hope this helps,

Colton Peltier
