Com'X 510 Publication Issue.

Hi everyone,

I have a similar issue as Steven Yan from [ComX510] Strange Publication Backfilling behaviour. But it is not exactly the same.

We have a customer that places Com'X 510 underground to log data in the mines. The Com'X 510 is not connected into a network. So the customer will go down to the mines and manually publish all the data (FTP) beginning of the next month.

The issue is that every time he manually publishes, it only publishes 1 day of data. For example, Com'X 510 starts logging on the 1 May and he goes manually publishes on the 1 June. He needs to click "manual publication" 31 times to retrieve the full 31 days of data in May. The Com'X 510 should be able to publish everything at once instead of clicking for the individual days of data.

I have updated the firmware from v2.1.17 to v3.0.6. Issue is still there.

I submitted this to the Technical Support, I am wait for their response.

In the mean time, is there anyone that can help?

Thanks

Regards,

Theren

Hi Theren,

There is a new feature in the Com'X510 V3.0.6 that allows you to export historical data for selected dates. You will need to navigate to "Monitoring" >> "Historical Data Export"  Then select your device, topics and start/end dates then click "Download". Please don't close or refresh your browser until the download is complete. The file creation and download might take some time, depends on how many topics was logged during the selected dates. Hope that helps.

Best Regards,

Michael Khela

Hi Michael,

I will have a look at that feature. Thanks.

Is that file format the same as the publication format?

Regards,

Theren

Hi Theren,

The file will be a Zipped file that includes a CSV file with the same format. Hope that answered your question.

Best Regards,

Michael

Hi Michael,

This is a very good alternative. But customer insist to use the "Manual Publication" and soon they will be using the "Periodic Publication". Same issue happens when they use periodic publication.

Regards,

Theren

Hello,

I had a similar issue, A customer had installed a ComX510 in April. Now we have setup the "periodic Publication" .csv export. And since we have only one PM5111 logging every minute, we get every day a CSV with +/- 4 days of data. Is this because the size of the .CSV is limited in size or in lines of data(5760 lines)?

In my case the next days the export will send each time 4 days of data until he is up to date. And when the backlog is empty he will send each day the last data from the day before?

Kind regards

Koen
