IEC 61436 LV panel, to consider NF C 15-100?

Hi,

I hope someone can help me on this.

Question with regards to participation in the ITER project.

When assembling IEC 61436 LV panel, do we have to consider NFC 15-100? What are the differences between NFC 15-100 and IEC 60364 when applying to IEC 61439 panels?

Thank you.

PL

Dear Paul,

The IEC 61439 Serie "Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies" have been developed in order to provide to the End-Users of switchboards a high level of confidence in terms of safety and power availability.

The IEC 60364 Serie is the international standard for the "Low Voltage Electrical Installations", and serve as a basis for national standardization, as for example NFC15100 for France

IEC 61439 requirements are intended to ensure that the required protective measures are obtained when an assembly is installed in an electrical system conforming to the IEC 60364 series.

Please find several documents for more information:

Dear all,

Usually when I explain the position and the use of the IEC standards I say,

First, we use product according to their product standard as IEC60947 series and for example IEC60947-2 for breakers

Second, we use assembly standard as 61439 series and for example IEC61439-2 to PSC assemblies or IEC61439-6 to (BTS) busbar trunking system

third, finally we use installation rules standards as IEC60364series and for Fr the local standard is NF C 15-100.

Best regards,

PascalL
