Bagaimana cara menentukan rating MCB & RCCB?

Pak ada pertanyaan, saya biasa menentukan rating MCB & RCCB itu sama, misalnya MCB nya 32A maka RCCB nya 32A juga, nah kalo menentukan rating RCCB itu lebih besar dari rating MCB bisa kah? misalnya MCB 32A, RCCB nya 40A. Terima kasih.

Ampere rating dari MCB menentukan daya yang boleh di lewati.

Apabila MCB memiliki rating ampere 10A, maka daya yang boleh dilewati adalah 10Ax220volt = 2,200 VA (Volt Ampere)

 

Untuk RCCB, ada dua rating yang harus diperhatikan, yatu rating sensitivity dan rating ampere.

Rating sensitivity menentukan penggunaan RCCB,

rating sensitivity 30mA untuk melindungi terhadap manusia (kesetrum).

rating sensitivity 300mA untuk melindungi terhadap peralatan (arus bocor terhadap mesin, aset)

 

Rating ampere dari RCCB menentukan total arus yang diperbolehkan untuk dilewati.

Pemberian rating ampere pada RCCB ditujukan untuk membatasi panas yang lewat pada RCCB.

RCCB dianjurkan untuk menggunakan rating ampere yang lebih tinggi daripada MCB yang diproteksi di bawahnya.

Pada prinsipnya, rating ampere pada RCCB adalah panduan untuk membatasi panas yang diperbolehkan melalui RCCB

yang ditimbulkan oleh beban yang di proteksinya.

Sehingga baik instalasinya diletakkan sebelum ataupun setelah MCB, rating ampere RCCB yang dipilih dianjurkan mampu melindungi panas yang ditimbulkan oleh beban tersebut.

Oleh karena beban lebih (overload) diproteksi oleh MCB (terlepas diletakkan sebelum atau setelah RCCB), maka RCCB dianjurkan di atas rating MCB.

Jadi misal saya pakai MCB 32A, saya bisa pakai RCCB dengan Ampere sama besar atau lebih besar, misalnya 40A, dengan diletakkan di sebelum MCB ya Pak?

Karena MCB yang nantinya akan melindungi dari beban lebih?
