I'm trying to find an easy way to generate Modbus objects that is bind to Fire objects inside EFO (EcoStruxureFireOperation). I have customer wishes to have Modbus registers that show the "AlarmStatus" from a fire detector. The Fire object is a unique object type and it has a variable called "AlarmStatus" that can have 64 states (State 1 to State 64). State 1 is normal and State 2 is Fire...
I've tried with the existing Modbus Mirror script but it seems to not work together with the Fire Object.

My CSV to Prop script could be used
It can create new objects with set parameters and bindings using a CSV file.
Workflow could go like this:
Make a search for the objects you want to mirror
Mirror one object to modbus and configure it the way you want.
Use the script to make template CSV file from the manually created register.
Edit the CSV file with excel. Copy the created register and use the object search to get the binding paths and names for the registers new registers.
Happy to help, if you need further assistance.

I was involved in a project in Gävleborg for Gävleborgs Hospital where we integrated a ASF, i personally didnt do this exactly but there was already alarm objects made from thoose properties iirc, which i assume was auto generated (it was thousands of detectors).
Maybe try to reach out to @hampussvedin, he may have more info and maybe they already have a solution for this.

Hi APA!
If I understand correct I should use the "Prop to CSV" in the first phase. Then open the CSV in Excel and multiply the lines. Then run the script again and then use the CSV to Prop mode.
When I try this the last phase fails. "Error: Parameter is not a number! line 75"

Correct!
I reply this here also if someone else needs it.
First three columns are mandatory, so leave those. After that delete any column you don't need. And make sure to save it as CSV UTF-8 format.
