We’re proud to announce the release of the Server Tools & Resources library, a new SEAL Design offering that marks a major step forward in supporting SEAL Design Library globally.
Why this matters:
Historically, SEAL Design libraries have been tailored for specific national markets—primarily within the Nordics—where dedicated application libraries have been developed to meet local needs. For countries without such tailored solutions, SEAL Design has offered limited direct value.
This release changes that. The Server Tools & Resources library is the first SEAL Design library built for the global market, designed to deliver practical value to engineers and commissioning teams in any country, regardless of local application library maturity.
While this library is relatively small in scope today, its significance lies in its reach. It represents a strategic shift: SEAL Design is now beginning to support a broader international community, including regions that have not yet developed their own national libraries. This is the first step toward making SEAL Design more inclusive and globally relevant.
The first tool in the library is a HTML-based IO Point test page designed for commissioning workflows. It uses the EBO Client API to automatically scan and list IO Points on a live EBO Server.
Note: This component is intended for use in Webstation. Currently, PCT does not support Client API-featured objects, so testing must be done on a live server.
Looking Ahead:
This is just the beginning. The Server Tools & Resources library will continue to grow, with more tools and resources planned for future releases. Additionally, more SEAL Design libraries are being considered for global release—bringing value to countries and teams that have not yet had access to tailored application libraries.

Hello everyone,
We’re currently exploring ways to develop our own custom solutions or extensions for the design tool. Could anyone share insights or documentation on how to get started with this?
Many thanks

Hi @StefanLundin
That's very interesting news. Can you tell me if there are plans to include HVAC / CRS applications in this library? (e.g., AHU)?
Thanks,
Linus

Hi @Linus,
Thanks for your question!
We as a small Nordic development team are currently not planning to develop application-specific libraries like AHU or HVAC for a global market. For such libraries, it is still the responsibility of each country or region to evaluate their development and maintenance for that specific market, where local standards and workflows are best addressed.
However, we do have the intention to expand SEAL Design with additional libraries that contain valuable content not tied to specific application standards. These future libraries, similar in spirit to Server Tools & Resources, will focus on practical, reusable components that support a more global approach and provide value regardless of local library maturity.
I hope that clarifies our intention on this subject
Best regards,
Stefan
