The Installed Base Capture script looks like it will be very helpful for us. Is there any roadmap to expand the functionality to also capture other legacy Device types including INet, Continuum, Sigma etc?
This would be very useful for us to quickly gather data of a site's legacy vs "up to date" devices (which we currently have to do through various searches in the ES)
Thanks

Hi @Chris_Vasiliou
Thank you for your input!
Since INet, Continuum, and Sigma products have not been a significant part of the market in the Nordics, they have not been included in the script. (SEAL is a Nordic initiative). However, we will see what we can do. If you could help us provide what properties (name of the properties) that correspond to those we collect for the other devices.
List the devices with the corresponding properties you wish to include, and we will see if we can add an option to allow for the inclusion of these device types.
Thanks

@Chris_Vasiliou as @StefanLundin states, the definition of which types to capture was initially based on what would typically be found in the Nordics. To provide a bit of context, the script was created as part of a larger initiative to pilot installed base management, and there are more tools and systems around that process than just the capture script.
See attached for minimum translation required. There are three generic fields (they are taken care of), and then there's some device specific fields. If you can provide that translation for the device types you're interested in, it would be doable to update the script. Some devices only have a model name and not a SKU, and for those we'd also need to know how to translate model name into SKU. We have a separate database for that operation.
