dear expert,
Where could I find the document for detail function for each report? For example, in capacity history report, there is one checkbox called 'ambient temperature', and we found that it has only 1 data each day and we don't know where DCO get it and how it was generated. Because we have more than 10 temperature sensors in one room and all data uploaded. And I don't know how to explain this to the customer. This situation also happens on some other reports.
Best Regards,
Ziqiang

Hi Jef,
Thank you for the answer. The customer is asking, just for ambient temperature, could we give a description how this value be calculated because they have encountered some unreasonable values in the report ( see attached). They have some values which is lower than 0 degree in Celsius.
Thanks,
Ziqiang

Hi Ziqiang,
The ambient temperature (sort of average temperature of the room) is based on the 2D cooling 'calculations'/algorithm. It is really just a rough estimation of the temperature of air that cannot be accounted for by rack exhausts or cooler supplies. However, the ambient temperature might be affected by manual settings such as rack & CRAC's cooling settings,
Kind regards
