upgrade DCIM-DCE from version 3.0 to the current version

Hello,

 

I am running now on dce version 3.0.0 and i am planning to upgrade to the latest version, can you please advise if i can upgrade it directly to the latest version or i have to pass by all the versions between first.

 

moreover please advise if its straight forward upgrade.

Hi Charbel,

Could you kindly share the screen capture of the version...I think you may have mistyped the version number or got the version mixed up with another piece of information.

As per Steve's comment if this in fact turns out to be legitimate version 3..x.x than the only way would be to start with a fresh 7.4.3 configuration.

Also back in those days there was no VM version availanble meaning that your server could even be over 10 years old meaning it is no longer reliable and needs to be refreshed with a new model or a VM version.

Just an FYI, There was an old InfraStruxure Central, the first version, that was version 3. If that is indeed what you have, you should be starting fresh at 7.4.3.
