symmetra px firmware

Dear Team,

I was receiving fake notification from Symmetra PX 160, i.e Ups battery charging in 100% and showing run-time of 110min on current load but i receive email notification of 12min. So i am trying to update its NMC firmware but it was showing error, Please find the attached FW which i was trying to update, error is below

Dear Muhammad Shahzad,

Make firmware flashing, you should always be the last thing.

I am sure, that the reason for the false alert is quite different.

  • Could you please tell us, a false alert by email from the DCE software or from the NMC of your UPS?
  • Please, show a screenshot of your NMC hardware/software revisions.
  • Please, show the data-log from your NMC for the period where you discovered a false alert.

The more information you provide, the faster and better your help will be πŸ˜€.

Why did you decide that a flashing will help you? You use the old first generation NMC. What version of the new firmware did you want to flash?

The event-log from NMC is available for you?

Please show the screenshot of the report on sensor UPS runtime from DCE software for the period where you discovered a false alert.

I have check eventlogs but didnt found low battery logs in the history. Customer wanted to upgrade NMC firmware but i am unable to do this due to above error. Please share HW compatible FW of NMC.

From your screenshots it follows, that you are using the old first generation NMC. Accordingly, you can upgrade the firmware only to version SFSYPX2377_390 dated 07/29/2015 (Network Management Card v3.7.7 Firmware Executable for Symmetra PX 48; 96; 100; and 160 kW Systems). You can download this firmware from the https://www.apc.com/us/en/tools/download/ resource.

Try it, and you will succeed.
