I am getting an error "unable to connect to APC update server." I believe our Web Filtering is blocking it. Is there an IP or URL that we would need to whitelist to be able to check/download firmware updates in Struxureware DCE?

Hi Todd,
Yes, whitelist the following URL: updates.apc.com, to download the firmware updates into Data Center Expert.
Additionally, please see the knowledge base that references this:

Kind Regards,
Andrew

Dear Todd Walters,
As stated from my post for this you need:
And, I solved the last problem quickly, as I understood, that for successful execute check Firmware Updates it is required to open outgoing connection from the DCE server to production update URL: https://updates.apc.com:443/. And practically only it is already enough for successful execute check Firmware Updates from the DCE client.
With respect.
