Hello friends, we want to migrate our ap9465 to another physical server is that possible or I need to buy the virtual version?

Hi Christian,

You can take a backup from one physical server and import it into another physical server. You can also go from physical to virtual. It is not supported to go from virtual to physical as we've seen issues.

If you're doing a full backup instead of just a config, you will likely want to go to a server that is the same size or larger (don;'t go from an enterprise server to a basic).

You will have to contact tech support directly to get the license key passcodes reset for re-use as with a new server, you have a new mac address and the old license keys won't work on that new server.

But, if make the full backup I can uninstall also the software from the ap9465 so I can install it in the new server?
