Hi Karim,
Can you be more specific with your question.
What type of UPS do you have?
Does it have a Network Management Card installed and it is configured to connect to your network?
is the UPS also being monitored by Data Center Expert?
If you need help with configuring the network settings on the card, please see the KBase below.|

ups can be monitored by DCE .
simply i need to connect host to privat lan port and ping the ups ip via public lan not from the private lan.

Karim
You will need to enable SOCKS Proxy on your DCE.
To do this, go to System > Server Administration Settings > Server Access > SOCKS Proxy. After that you can configure your browser or SOCKS proxy client on the Public LAN to connect to devices on the Private LAN.
Hope this helps

It is already enabled ..
me and other hosts can reach the server via public port , but we can not reach the ups itself ( can not ping ups's ip from terminal ).
Thanks,

You will NOT be able to ping or FTP or Telnet into devices on the Private Lan from the Public Lan, as they are on separate networks. The only way you to access them is via HTTP using the SOCKS Proxy.
