Hi
I have a customer wanting to have a shutdown command issued to their physical DCE server when the UPS runtime starts getting low. Is this possible and how could they achieve this ?
Regards
Jim

Dear Jim Davis,
As far as I know, this is impossible to implement, since the DCE appliance is a black box. But I'm interested to know why the developers decided to do just that?
I was always surprised about this, because a sudden blackout of the physical DCE server may lead to its failure and loss of information. And the only hope is regular full backup...
With respect.
