can't print work order

After upgrade to DCO 8.0.4 we are unable to print work orders.

This is what is in the application log:

We have also tried "Restore Default Designs" from Analytics/Reports and it did not fix the issue.

Also happens when we try to print from either the "Work Orders" tab and when using "Analytics/Reports" - Work Order Details.

Hi Dieter,

I've been able to reproduce this on DCO 8.0.4 moment ago. It seems this has been resolved in 8.1, which is going to be released very soon.

Thanks

Kind regards

Hi Jef,

I upgrade from 8.02 to 8.1.0 today and can confirm that I can print work orders from Reports–> Work Order Details.

However I still get an error when I try to print a work order from the Work Order View tab.  I've included the error from the application log

Hi Andrew,

I have seen this before and had captured an enhancement case, apparently the report template seems to be originated from previous version of DCO. The type parameter that is being communicated between the "right click -> Print Work Order" feature (in Work Orders view tab) seems not be in expected type.

Current work around: restoring the default report template designs should resolve the issue, but please notice that would overwrite the templates. (note: take a fresh backup, before going for Restore Default Designs)

Or as you've mentioned, you might want to print directly from "Analytics Reports" -> "Work Order Details". Or might be printed from "Analytics Changes > Work Order Tasks".

Hope this helps,

Kind regards

Thanks Jef,

I thought I restored the default template last time and it still didn't work.  I tried again today and its working as expected.  I don't know if restarting my client or the server itself helped, but its now resolved.
