I have an error message -
The containment system must snap to the equipment in the ends
There is no reference to this in the manual.
It is also telling me that equipment is sending air in the wrong direction, which is false - must be something wrong with the object assumptions - anyone know how to fix that ?

Hi Eric,
Apparently the equipment inside the containment system is not completely covered, eg. there might be some gaps at the ends and therefore the notification is suggesting snap to the equipment in the ends. In the following image, I have an illustration of Cold and Hot aisle containment system:
Additional to snap to the ends, please also notice the orientation of the equipment.
And concerning the "equipment is sending air in the wrong direction ", without information about your setup it is hard to say what might be causing that. It might be (only guessing) due to the orientation of the racks/neighboring racks and/or the mixed orientation of the equipment inside a rack.
Kind regards

that yellow caution space indicates that your containment is drawn so that it extends across your cabinets.
Why ?
It doesn't.
when building containment, it is sealed to the side of the cabinet that is being contained. So if hot containment, as shown in the picture below of an APC solution, you seal the BACK side of the cabinets - and contain the back side of the cabinets.
You don't build a structure that mounts to the front of the cabinet on each row, extends up and over, encompassing the entirety of the cabinets and the gap between them. Why would you draw it that way ?
I've tried it how you have it though and it does nothing to change the behavior of DCO in any case.

Hi Eric,
The yellow space (in 2D) is to illustrate the so-called service area and similar to your image usually would be left unoccupied/unblocked.
Kind regards

The cold aisle only "SERVICES" - in the picture above - 2 tiles between the cabinets - 4' presumably. Not 6 tiles (12 feet) as you have shown in your images.
A sliding door could require a couple of inches adjacent to the cabinet to slide open, but you could just as easily have a hinged door or a curtain...
It sounds like there is no reason to draw the containment outside of the contained area. If there is some technical requirement related to Struxureware managing cooling that requires the containment to be drawn beyond the actual contained area boundaries, please explain.
