What DDF do I need for ABB Power Value 1/1

Hi team,

I am looking for a DDF for this ABB UPS Powervalue 1/1 but cannot find it , or can I use another one from ABB

Dear Cees de Vogel,

Try to first discover your ABB UPS in DCE software without any additional DDF-file. It is very possible, that your ABB UPS will be discovered and its sensors will even be visible (this is done using the standard UPS MIB DDF-file in the DCE software).

If you are unlucky, and the sensors of your ABB UPS are not discovered, then you will need to create the appropriate device support request on the Device Support resource.

thx for your response, your advice is what we have done, we are missing some sensors and that is the reason for my question, otherwise I have to start the process for requesting a new DDF 😀

Thanks for the feedback 😀.

In your case, if there are a lot of missing UPS related non-standard sensors (more than ten, for example), then you really need to order a separate 3rd party DDF-file. If the missing sensors are few, then you can simply use the Supplemental OIDs option in the DCE software. Try it.
