Uniflair chiller monitoring

Dear Team,

I have Uniflair ARAC1084 chiller unit and i want to take its data on ISX 7.0.0, Please tell me which sort of data can be monitored and its steps of configuration.

Dear Muhammad Shahzad,

Your chiller model Uniflair ARAC1084 is already supported in the latest version of DCE-7.5.0. I highly recommend, that you update the ISX Central 7.0.0 software to the latest version of DCE-7.5.0. Since your ISX Central version is already very outdated and may no longer be supported.

If you are temporarily unable to do this, then you need to find your device model on the special Device Support web page, for example, as in the screenshot:

You need to click on the button I WANT IT TOO and within a couple of business days you will be sent a link to download the corresponding DDF-file and instructions for import into the DCE software.

I hope this is what you need.

Can you please tell me, which sort of data we can be take after this up-gradation, and after this ISX and generate its alarm on email and SMS notification????

Dear Muhammad Shahzad,

In order for the Uniflair ARAC1084 chiller unit to connect to ISX Central 7.0.0, you probably do not need to upgrade the ISX Central software. But the ISX Central software update is required because as Jef Faridi replied in post :

As discussed already, you will need to upgrade your products, since they are outdated and unsupported.

Concerning your Central/DCE upgrade steps (from 6.3)

This will be a sequential upgrade, so you will need to apply the upgrades in the following order:

6.3->7.0->7.2.0->7.2.1->7.2.2->7.2.4->7.2.5->7.2.6->7.2.7->7.3.1->7.4.0->7.4.1->7.4.3

For the product download: you can contact your local tech support to verify your support contacts and get the upgrade links. The product download page, should contain both installation file(s) and also the upgrade instructions.

We no longer support Struxureware Central 6.3.0 as it very old version. Struxureware Central is now called Data Center Expert(DCE). Please upgrade to newer supported version Struxureware Data Center Expert(DCE) 7.3.1 or above so that you can integrate the DCE with DCO.

I.e., it is very desirable to have an already supported version of DCE software so that you can receive adequate technical support in the future for this product.

Concerning sort of data, then, as a rule, they are the temperatures of the inlet and outlet water, outdoor temperature, condensation and evaporation temperatures, condensation and evaporation pressures, fans and circulating pumps speed, run-hours and much more.

And of course, the DCE server will be able to send out alarm messages for this type of equipment in the event of any critical problems.

I mean for Uniflair ARAC1084A monitoring on ISX, PCOweb card will be use or any other device can be used.

What do you mean? If the documentation for this DCE software, then you can find it on the resource StruxureWare Data Center Expert.

In addition, on page StruxureWare Data Center Expert you can find a compilation of useful video material for this DCE software.

There is also a special online demo resource http://testdrive.apc.com/index.htm, but it seems to be not working yet (see, for example, topic ).
