Struxureware Portal security issue

Hi,

I have installed Struxureware portal and the customer needs to update tomcat server to the latest version (CVE 2020 1938) and to run the web server for tomcat as user with low privileges not as a system user cause he said that affects the security. So is there way to solve these two issues?

Hi Mohamed,

StruxureWare Portal was build on older version of Liferay (6.1), it works best with its shipped components (mostly outdated) - it may not work on modern workstations/servers. Development of Portal have been discontinued.
