Hi all,
I have 2x Camera Pods plugged into a NetBotz 750. The Camera Pods 165 keep unplugging and re-plugging and the Alerts are filling our mailbox.
Please advise on how I can suppress these Unplugged and Re-plugged Alerts.
Regards,
Tafadzwa.

Hello @Tafadzwa,
I would recommend reaching out to support as there is an underlying issue that is causing these communication issues, whether the network or on the appliance/camera. They can help you investigate further from the appliance/camera side.
Kind Regards,
Cory

Hello @Tafadzwa,
1) What firmware version is running on the NetBotz 750? As of this posting 5.4.0 is the most recent version and I would recommend an upgrade to that version before additional troubleshooting.
2) Is the terminator properly installed? https://www.apc.com/uk/en/faqs/FAQ000224706/
Other than those steps above, you likely will need to reach out to technical support to help resolve the issue by digging into things further, including log files.
If you do need to reach out to technical support, ensure to provide the following:
- Serial Number of the NetBotz & associated camera PODs
- Version of firmware
- Describe the solution and how things are connected (NB750, 2x camera pods, etc.)
- How often the alerts are occurring
- Any other relevant details
Kind Regards,
Cory

The NB 750 is running F\W v5.3.5. The client has several NB 750 on the same firmware with the same hardware setup and they are not having any CP 165 disconnection issues.
We need to have the option of stopping such alerts.

Hi @Tafadzwa ,
I've experienced similar problems. I replaced the network cables I was using between the camera and netbotz. I thought I'd used reasonable quality cables originally, but new Cat 6a cables seem to clear the problem. I think it may be a POE issue with poor quality cables.

Thank you for your feedback.
I hope in the near future the NetBotz 700 Series can be more flexible with Alarm Configurations.
Regards,
Tafadzwa.

The 755's are much less customizable than the old 455/355 units. But they had potato quality cameras. I've yet to receive a satisfactory explanation as to why the new cameras are so much more stripped down and more difficult to get the few things you can out of them.
