Secondary PDU's not showing via IP address

The setup we have is the primary PDU has an IP and the secondary PDU is daisy chained, (limited IP Space). On most of the PDU's, the the secondary PDU's show up just fine when logging into the PDU via IP address or DCE. On a handful of them, I cannot get the secondary device to show up. I have tried resetting the module, validated settings on the module, (we are using DHCP set to permanent, not my decision) and checked cabling/ ports between the devices. I tried updating firmware as well with the newest one. What else could it be?

It is difficult to say what the potential issue is without getting hands-on with the units to understand what is happening. Below are a few potential causes to why the second PDU is not showing up on the NMC.

• If you are having communications problems with Network Port Sharing, check that the total length of network cable between up to four units is not more than 10 meters.
• If you are having communications problems with Network Port Sharing, check that a terminator (part number 0W04161A or the lower profile version 0W05545A) is installed at both ends of up to four units that can be grouped together.
• If you are using Network Port Sharing and do not see one or more of the units in the group, check that all units in the group are using the same firmware revision.

If the above doesn't solve your issue, I would highly suggest contacting your local technical support team, they should be able to guide you in the right direction.

Firmware could be the issue as it is a couple versions behind. Its weird some work and some don't though. All the cable runs are short 2 meter cables and manufactured (pre-terminated). Thanks for the reply!!!
